This exchange of views on Orleanism versus Legitimism took place on the alt.talk.royalty newsgroup in September 1996. Guy Sainty and myself took opposite positions on the question of the headship of the House of France.
As of October 2002, both Guy and I agree that the exchange is rather outdated. Anyone desirous to read it can find it in the Google Archives, and anyone who does so should take it for what it is, an argument that took place several years ago between two people who have learned much in the meantime.
Guy Sainty also published his statement of the Legitimist view on his Web site. See, however, his more substantial presentation of the arguments.
